This week at Mom's Day Out

Good Morning!

 

We are moving right along in our Creation study. This week the children will hear that God created the plants and trees. Our colors of the week are green and purple, and our number is 3. We will arrange flowers, play with Mr. Potato Head, count spots on dice, do leaf rubbings and so much more.

 

In our specials classes we will...

 

ART: work on a spring surprise, continue creating with torn paper, and paint with non-paintbrushes.

HALL: work in the garden.

LANGUAGE ARTS/MUSIC: read about growing things, work on our counting and colors, hear the Creation story and learn "same and different".

STEM: examine plants, build trees, "plant" bean seeds, and sort apples.

 

NEXT WEEK we will be talking about God creating fish. We will have several extra fish in the wing that will need good homes at the end of the week. Please let me know if you are interested in taking some home. :)

 

Dublin City Schools has Spring break March 28-April 5th and there will be NO MDO that week either.
