This week at Mom's Day Out

Note from Our Director  - Patty  Giammarco

We are all set for a great first week. We will jump right in with our alphabet letters using A and B to learn that Noah built an ark (big boat) to keep all the animals safe during a flood.  I have attached a copy of the Bible story for you to read to your child before class if you'd like.

In the classrooms we will be using clues to guess the which animal is hiding, practice our building skills with hammer and "nails", using preschool record players to make rainbows, measure things, talk about rain and so much more.

ART- paint with different shades of blue, design a big boat, and make our own animals.

HALL ACTIVITY- build an ark with 100 boxes and add animals

LANGUAGE ARTS/MUSIC-learn about the Letter A and B, start our Alphabet Book, read about amazing animals and bees that buzz.

STEM- match animal heads and tails, float items in water, pair up socks, balance astronauts, and put bees back in their hives.

Please remember our helpful hints to walk your child down the hall each morning and to leave them with a big smile and a short reassurance that you will be back once school is over. We promise to call you if we feel your child needs an early pick up.

Families with outstanding paperwork, please make sure that is dropped off at the desk before you take your child to class.
