This week at Mom's Day Out

Good Morning!

 

This week we finish up the alphabet with a look at the letters Y and Z. Our Bible story is about a short man that wanted to see Jesus, so he climbed a tree for a better view, and it changed his life. Knowing Jesus always changes your life!

 

We will be talking about the Zoo, play a couple games with coins, search for yellow things and so much more.

 

In our specials classes we will...

 

Art- start getting ready for our creation until by making background pictures.

Language Arts/Music: read about the Zoo, Owl's Yarn Scarf, and things that are yummy. We will act out animals to music and finish up our Alphabet Booklet.

STEM-Set up a zoo, use yarn on felt boards, and carry yummy donuts.

 

Next week we start our unit on God's Creation of the world and everything in it. We will study both our numbers and colors as we go along. Please feel free to dress your child in the colors of the week if you wish. We start with black and white!

 

Woo Hoo! It's registration time! You may pick up registration forms at the MDO desk for your currently enrolled children and any siblings that will be joining us next year. We ask that these forms are in by the end of April for a guaranteed spot.

New family registration will begin at the beginning of March.

Summer Fun registration (for currently enrolled children only) will begin at the beginning next week.
