This week at Mom's Day Out

Note from Our Director  - Patty  Giammarco

Good Morning!

This week we are back on track with our alphabet study. We will be focusing on the letters S and T, and our Bible story will be about the good Samaritan that helps the man in Trouble.

To help us learn about caring for others we request that EACH CHILD BRING A STUFFED ANIMAL WITH THEM THIS WEEK.

Please label these special friends with your child's name.

We will have lots of S and T activities this week including adding traffic signs to our cars, practicing our new letters in shaving cream, looking at the stars, and doing lots of sorting.

In our specials classes...

ART: Paint with sponges, start a special project and talk about texture.

LANGUAGE ARTS/MUSIC:  read silly books, sing about spiders, use scarves and work on our alphabet booklet.

STEM: stack, sort, build a tower, and use tangrams.

January is our month for round two of classroom snacks. Please bring in a container of preschool friendly snacks that can be shared with the whole class.

NEXT TUESDAY (1/20) we will have a very special event. The group Dreamshop, will be putting on a performance for our children. This performance is always a big hit with the little ones and teaches them a bit about Japanese history and culture.

All parents and any non-Tuesday MDO children are welcome to attend, too. Please come to the ROCK at 10:25.

See you soon!

Patty
