This week at Mom's Day Out

Good Morning Everyone!

 

This week we will use the letters Q and R to learn the Bible story of Queen Esther bravely rescuing her people. We will also rearrange roses, race cars, make quilts and press "quarters" into playdough. 

 

In our special classes, we will...

ART: start Thanksgiving projects and do "squish" painting.

LANGUAGE ARTS/MUSIC: play "Queen, queen, king", roll balls, toss beanbags onto letters, read Q and R books and add a page to our alphabet books.

STEM: We will use our STEM room for the photographer but will do math and science activities in our rooms.

 

THIS WEEK IS PICTURE WEEK! All children will be photographed on their assigned day sometime during the morning. If you would like to have older or younger siblings that DO NOT ATTEND MDO be included in pictures you will take all your children to the STEM room right at 9:30. Extra forms are at the desk.

 

The weather has been great for outdoor play. Please continue to send a jacket on cooler days.

 

SAVE THE DATE!!!  Our MDO children have been invited to sing onstage during the Christmas Music Service at 11:00 on SUNDAY, DECEMBER 16th. We will be practicing every day until then. You won't want to miss this great photo opportunity! :)​

 

Saturday, December 6th Gingerbread Bash.  Your family is invited to come make and decorate gingerbread houses across the street in our ARC building. All ages invited. You must sign up for this event as space is limited. The QR code is on the posters in the church (and MDO) hallway.   

 

Sunday, December 14th. SAVE THIS DATE!!! Our MDO children have been invited again to sing in the 11:00 Christmas Music service.  You won't want to miss it. We will be practicing our two songs over the next month and then then we will get on stage and sing them for all the big people. Our MDO teachers will care for the MDO children before and after they sing in their MDO rooms.
